Winemaking Notes

We call this wine First Fruit because it is the first fruit that we harvest from our vineyard every year. Our sauvignon blanc is freshly aromatic with musque aromas in addition to lime, kiwi, white grapefruit and melon complexed with minerality and balanced acidity.
Classic flavors of ripe pear, Grapefruit, fig, and herbs combine with classic minerality on the finish to create a wine best paired with the bounty of fresh fish and shellfish harvested locally on the North Fork

Hand harvested, fermented with natural yeast, no sulfur at harvest. Both clones were fermented separately in stainless steel tanks. Sauvignon Musque grapes were destemmed and cold soaked overnight prior to pressing.
